Ladybug Tools for Grasshopper are used for environmental analysis for any given location on Earth. In this tutorial, we are going to cover some of the basics of Ladybug, how to set it up, how to load weather files from public sources and how to create a couple of these environmental diagrams.

For this example, we’ve chosen London as a “test location” but you can choose any location that has weather files information. You will learn how to create a Sun Path Diagram, how to create temperature diagrams, humidity diagrams and sunlight hours analysis.

In the extended version of this tutorial, you can find out how to create radiation analysis, shadow analysis, view rose analysis and how to finalize these diagrams, export them to Rhino and prepare them for final presentation.
