Rhino to Illustrator workflow is extremely important when you’re trying to create 3D section or 3D floor plan because Rhino allows us to export vector lines directly from Rhino as Illustrator files. In this tutorial, we’re going to go through this workflow and share tips and tricks on how to combine clay renderings from Vray with vector lines in Illustrator.

The end result is a 3D section / diagram / render where we can manually adjust the thickness of certain lines, surfaces or change the opacity of some elements. This workflow will allow you to have full control over your models and drawings and present them in an interesting way combining multiple layers
